Once i have the compliance report, what is the next step?

You shall need to read the compliance report for Non-Compliant parameters. Fix the gaps and issues, or provide justification to the assessor. After fixing the issues, you can run the report again, and upload the report to question number 21 in control sheet in SkyCAM portal and inform the assessor. Our assessor will review the evidence and give you feedback. Thereafter you can upload all the evidence (compliance report) to relevant questions. Assessor shall guide you in case any doubt or query.

Does the program write or changes any policy, parameter in the operating system?

No, the program is a read only program, and writes the extracted system level evidence in encrypted file. We have a Security and Compliance Assurance documentat as well available. This document is available online at https://help.controlcase.com/kb/acelite-usage-guide/

Will i have to copy the ACE Lite program on each machine?

Yes, you shall need to copy and run the program on each machine. If the number of machines to get evidence is more than 25 and you would like to scan multiple times, then, you can use ACE Enterprise version. Please ask your project managerto arrange for a demo of ACE Enterprise if you wish. ACE Enterprise requires you to install ACE scanner on a dedicated Linux machine in your network, which can scan internally multiple machines.

What are the variants of operating system supported, and will it support Windows laptop and workstations?

Yes, it supports Windows Laptop and workstations. Here is the list of supported operating systems

My environment contains many Firewalls and less Windows and Linux operation system, is there a firewall extractor?

Before the end of July 2021, we will have firewall evidence support for Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortigate, Checkpoint. More firewalls will be added over a period of time.
